Our 2019 season features many  events throughout Windsor and around Essex County. Our events are family friendly with something for everyone: walkers, runners and wheelers of every age.

There will no longer be a WRACE membership fee.  Everyone is welcome to participate in any or all of the events on the 2019 schedule.  We will continue to support the charities and hope that you will join us for the 2019 season

Volunteers are essential to our organization, assisting with registration, water stations, providing refreshments at the end of the race, and more. Without their help, we would not exist. Our volunteer executive committee works hard at organizing our events.

History of WRACE

In 1988, Jerry Slavik and Dave Orshinsky, two local (Windsor, Ontario, Canada) athletes began raising money for local charities through running and walking events.

WRACE is a nonprofit organization for walkers, runners and wheelers of all ages and abilities.

WRACE relies on our volunteer board members and the many community volunteers.
